A promotional teaser for the featured guest characters in TVJZZZ (TVJ7), promoted by our 'Mystery Cardmaster' (by TeeOfTeeJay) as he organises and prepares the necessary cards and invitation letters for his players...
The guest characters are from the universe; The Chronicles of 2100, created by TomorrowsArchon. The characters (alongside their respective creators) featured are:
- Karoku Hasu(TomorrowsArchon)
- Senichi 'Tanaka' Alucard(OblivionSimon)
- Kinme Nyanko(darkdestroyer14)
- Aurelia Brunestud (TomorrowsArchon)
- Sinthia LeClair(SecretsOfSorrow)

The aforementioned six characters featured are our intended six 'official'guest playable slots decided for our crossover series; TVJ. lazy brush set
After so many people requested it, I finally found the time to go through my gigantic pile of brushes and clean them from duplicates and presets I've never really used. The set is built on brushes found all over the internet. You may or not find in it brushes made by ~DanHowardArt, `DanLuVisiArt, *CoyoteMange, *algenpfleger and many many more. I picked and chose what I liked from them and that's how this big-ass set came to life.
The set contains 174 brushes that I use on an everyday basis. For your convenience it's divided into 9 categories:
Why lazy? Because there are plenty of brushes that make your life easier.
The set works best with Photoshop CS5 and CS6. It should work with versions from 2 to 4 too but some of the brushes might not give the same effects.
Feel free to download and pick whatever you like. Have fun!

The set contains 174 brushes that I use on an everyday basis. For your convenience it's divided into 9 categories:
- Basic - brushes I use the most. Most of my paintings are made using those particular brushes and often I use only those alone. Brushes from the following categories are just an addition and are used depending on the subject and stylization I work in.
- Clouds - a few dynamic brushes to paint skies, mist and smoke.
- Rock - perfect for rocks, ground and other rough surfaces.
- Water - splashes and brushes with wet edges - best if used with light paint on dark surfaces.
- Hair & Feathers - Well, ain't I a douchebag. I completely forgot to check the release document for most of the fur and feather brushes and now had to remove them from the set. - Plants - a very big set of dynamic brushes for painting foliage. Most of them are hand-painted giving pictures a very nice and unified look.
- Details - all sorts of little things that add to the final image - seams, light effects, laces and trinkets.
- Textures - yummy grunge and garbage that will make those flat surfaces look interesting. Scratches, wrinkles, rust, pores, stains - all you'll ever need.
- Smudge - special brushes for blending. They give very interesting blur and displacement effects.
Why lazy? Because there are plenty of brushes that make your life easier.

Chunky Chalk Brush
I don't use a lot of crazy brushes but along with the standard soft round, hard round, and chalk brushes this is a workhorse of mine when working in Photoshop. Simply add the .abr file to the Presets>Brushes directory in your Adobe Photoshop application folder. I hope you can get some use out of it!

The contest was fun and very challenging. I worked a good 50 hours on my entry and there are still many things I'd like to change but I just can't work on it anymore and time until deadline has run out anyway.

Faberge Dragon
More dragons! This was for the Creature of the week activity, it's nice getting back into that!
This week's topic was to take a Faberge Egg and imagine that it is actually a dragon egg and we were to design the dragon that comes from the egg~!
Concept: Emera'kuanos
The mystical dragon was hunted for his emerald made bone, there were many tales that were told about the Emera'kuanos, some say that he's the guardian of the greatest treasures, some say he's the king of the sky. Although there were numerous sighting of the dragon, little is known about the dragon. Its golden trim and gems encrusted in the wing, along with its emerald fangs, glitter in the sky with pride as it fly under the sun.
From the drawings and tales that were past down from the dragon age, the Faberge Egg was created based on the scriptures and story of the few brave adventurers who've had the chance to encounter such great beast. It was said that the egg is as delicate and beautiful as a precious jewel.
Under the dragon's head there are fur like that or a lion's mane, therefore the egg was recreated with lions supporting at the base to symbolize the great strength and power of the creature.

big pinch of cayenne
1 cup cold club soda
2-3 cups Panko (Japanese-style breadcrumbs), or as needed
fine salt to taste
vegetable oil for frying
2-3 yellow onions, cut into 1/4-inch rings
*Note: The amounts above will make a nice large batch, enough for about 8 servings
